Chester Auto Group is a family-run, independent garage in Chester run by the husband and wife team, Sarah and Dean Spindley.

We are proud to offer our customers a wide range of high-quality repairs and maintenance services for all makes and models of cars and light commercial vehicles, including electric vehicles. While happily catering for all makes and models, we have years of specialist experience in Mercedes and are fully equipped with Mercedes diagnostics. We are committed to providing our customers with excellent customer service and professional work which is of warranty-approved quality and at a fraction of main dealer prices.

As well as offering general vehicle repairs and maintenance, we are your local DVSA-authorised MOT testing centre in Chester, carrying out Class 4 MOTs. Our workshop is fully-equipped with dealer diagnostics and the latest automotive technology which allows us to quickly and accurately isolate even the most elusive faults and get them sorted for you.

Located just off the A494 between Chester and North Wales, we have a large modern workshop with plenty of parking and a comfortable customer waiting area with WiFi and refreshments where you are welcome to wait while we work on your vehicle. Taking the hassle out of having your car off the road is one of our priorities at Chester Auto Group, so if you’re within 5 miles of the garage, we can come and collect it and return it to you once the work is complete. We also have a courtesy car available for your convenience.
